Lots of us have issues with our hips and low back due to the demands of the modern body through work and travel. We spend a huge amount of time sitting, compressing the abdominal, tightening the hip flexors and causing a disconnect in the inner thighs and pelvic floor.
This workshop will look at using Forrest Yoga techniques to create a feeling of space in the hip joints and you will begin to explore poses that open up the various muscle groups that contribute to tight hips and stiff lower back. Using Finlay’s years of practice as a Yoga teacher and Bodyworker, you will learn techniques to persuade the hips to open and be guided to explore the resistance in this area.
